How does Vermeer Living Match work?
Have you signed up for Match? Then you will receive an access link to the community page. This page is private and intended only for contacting future housemates. On the community page you introduce yourself and indicate what you are looking for. Have you found someone who would like to rent with you? Then you contact the real estate agent and enter into one rental contract together. Please note that the rental contract will state that the rent is due from both signatories. Vermeer Living and the brokers do not mediate between individuals but only offer the opportunity to connect with each other on the community page.
When will the homes be delivered?
The first rentals can start in May. For each construction number an appointment will be scheduled by the real estate agent and/or the administrator. They will take care of the check-in after which you can move in.
I am interested and would like to rent. What should I do?
First you create an account, then you indicate your preferences for an apartment. The real estate agent will then contact you. Would you like to rent an apartment after the initial allocation? Then create an account and select an available apartment. If you have any questions, simply contact the broker, who will help you further.
Can I rent a parking space?
Yes, there are parking spaces at Vermeer Living, but they are limited in number. Ask the real estate agent about availability and conditions.
Is there shared bicycle storage in Vermeer Living?
A bicycle in Vermeer Living is no problem at all, there is a bicycle shed at each entrance of the three different blocks. The bike storage is only accessible to residents, so your bike is very safe here.
Can I come and live in Vermeer Living with my child?
Yes, children are most welcome in Vermeer Living.
Are pets allowed?
Would you like to come and live with your faithful four-legged friend in Vermeer Living? This is certainly possible. Share details about your pets with the real estate agent and they can further advise you.
What is the minimum lease term?
All leases have a minimum lease term of 1 year.
Is there a registration or mediation fee?
No, there are no registration or agency fees to be paid when you register for an apartment.
What documents should I upload with the application form?
Different conditions apply depending on your income situation.
If you are employed, you will need to upload the following documents when you register;
- 3 recent pay slips
- 3 recent bank statements showing salary
- Copy of the identity document (cross out the BSN number)
If you are self-employed, we ask the following documents at registration;
- Latest income tax assessment
- Copy of proof of identity (cross out the BSN number)
For pensioners, the following documents have to be handed in at registration;
- 3 recent bank statements with AOW and/or pension payments
- Copy of the identity document (strike out the BSN number)
If you do not fall under any of the above categories then we only expect a residence permit at the time of registration.
What are the income requirements to rent?
If you want to rent at Vermeer Living without a co-tenant, at least 2.5 times the monthly rent is assumed as a gross income requirement. If you are renting together with someone else, we assume at least 3.5 times the monthly rent as gross income. If you cannot meet this requirement, you must provide a guarantee in some other way. This can be provided by parents or someone who can pay the rent if you are temporarily unable to do so. The real estate agent can provide more information about this.
Is a deposit required? If so, how much is it?
The deposit is set per apartment and is included in the contract. This deposit is used to compensate for any damages during check-out. During the pre-inspection that takes place a few works before, a report is made. Some things you prefer to repair yourself as a tenant, of course you will be given time for this. If you do not succeed or if we find damage, the apartment will be made suitable for the next tenant from the deposit.
Are there any service costs?
The service charge is 70 euros p.m. and includes the cost of the common areas and facilities.
The service costs will be settled at the end of the year based on the actual costs incurred.
